Before you can submit the Google sitemap from nukeSEO, you must add the sitemap to your Google sitemap account.
Please note that the Google sitemap status will only change when the sitemap is updated through Google. Once submitted, and assuming there are no errors, it will update regularly on its own. |

wow...sorry but what kind of sitemap I need to have added before!
Can I just add a simple file .txt with few link and then click on the submitted bottom to have a great sitemap in google? Or do I have to add a specific type of sitemap!
Thank you for the answer!

The sitemap is generated dynamically. So once you install nukeSEO, you have a sitemap with the URL: http://yournukedomain.com/modules.php?name=Sitemap&op=Google
That's the URL you give to Google (well, the modules.php?name=Sitemap&op=Google part after you define your domain). |

well, when I give this URL to google it show me an error "formato file non supportato" that in english sound llike "file format not supported".
So what's the matter with google?

The Sitemap module needs to be activated. This is done in your Admin, Modules function. |

The missing _SEO_VERSION in modules/Sitemap/languages/lang-xxxxx.php appears to be causing an extra space at the beginning of the sitemap. Try renaming the lang-english.php file to the site language. |

Donnie's issue is outside the sitemap - most likely in mainfile.php or one of the included files there. You can verify this by checking your backend.php. If backend.php shows a similar XML error, there is an extra space somewhere (e.g. before <? or after ?>) in mainfile.php or one of the included files.
Did you make any modifications to other pieces of PHP-Nuke for an addon or patch? |
