Hi,

Is there a way to search for complete words. For instance if you are searching for 'sign' at the moment it will also return 'design' or 'significant'.

Thanks in advance

Would it be an easy mod to return an exact match?

Not sure. I've never needed that - what would the SQL look like?

To be honest I'm a bit out of my comfort zone, but is it as simple as changing the 'like' to '=' in function doquery?

I guess it isn't that simple, just gave it a go but it didn't work. Sad

I need to get some sleep and I'll have a look at this again tomorrow.

If you can figure out an appropriate regular expression, it might be possible to use MySQL's regex capabilities:

By the way, another option might be to place a FULLTEXT index on the table/columns of interest and then use word searches.
