Of course it's not "dead." We're in the middle of releasing Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!. And we are discussing when / how to implement HTMLpurifier, which would be a key component / requirement for CKeditor (at least if it's implemented properly).

I'm curious why you have a creative commons license in your footer but show a GPL license in your header source.
